A few weeks ago, while watching 'The View', the ladies were talking about a New Jersey family who named their children Nazi inspired names; Adolf Hitler Campbell, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell. The family wanted to have one of the kids' names put on a birthday cake, but the baker refused to do it. The couple said they were 'hurt and upset' that the baker refused to put their son's name on the birthday cake. They wanted it to read 'Happy birthday Adolf Hilter'.
The father of the boy, Heath Campbell, claims to be a relative of a member of Hitler’s Schutzstaffel, denies the Holocaust, wears boots supposedly worn by a Nazi soldier, and decorates his house with swastikas. And though he does not believe in the mixing of races, he and his wife deny that they are racists. Campbell told the Easton Express-Times, “They’re just names, you know. Yeah, they (the Nazis) were bad people back then. But my kids are little. They’re not going to grow up like that.”
Campbell has expressed confusion over the public’s reaction to his kids’ names (his other two children are named JoyceLynn Aryan Nation and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie), saying, “Other kids get their cake. I get a hard time. It’s not fair to my children. How can a name be offensive?”
I don't get it? How can the parents not understand why people are so upset about the children's names?!? The Nazi's were HORRIBLE people, who murdered, raped and tortured innocent men, women and children! Do they not remember a thing called the 'Holocaust'?!?
I do not have children, but I can tell you this, I would NEVER allow my child to associate with a family who named their children after Nazi's!
What do you think about this subject? Would you name your children after Nazi's? Would you allow you children to be friends with children with Nazi names?
Update: It has just been announced that the children have all been removed from their home, by family services.

There's no one left to call
This is my first ever blog. Welcome to the world of my thoughts and emotions! Some of my blogs may read as rants, others as comically inclined stories. Some may move you, others may annoy you. I will never censor myself. I say what I think and think what I say.
